YIPPEEEEE!

"So many gods, so many creeds, So many paths that wind and wind, while just the act of being kind is all the sad world needs." -- Ella Wheeler Wilcox, poet (1850-1919)

Oh my God, there's so much I want to write about! I HATE that! It's so much easier to come up with nothing out of thin air than it is to edit down what I want to share. I'll do my best. I started a job today!!! That's right, folks, thanks to the wonderful and fabulous Pixie, Barbarella has a sense of worth and the sweet feeling of accomplishment. My first day, and she told me the lawyers at the firm are already pleased with my work. You don't know how fucking good that feels. I'm flying right now, just on the sense of it all. I had a crazy weekend, as always, what else do we expect from me?

Saturday, I utilized my esemplastic power (look it up) and created a fun and exciting, eventful evening for myself downtown with many various cool people I know, starting with driving down there alone to meet up with Kitty and her new beau and his gorgeous sister for dinner. Did I spell that right? Ah, who cares. Yes, that's right, Kitty's hitched to a porn peddler. I love it. Fun crowd, fun crowd. I got to boogie with Halcyon, chat with Fizgig and his woman, party it up with Kitty and the new(est) crowd. Nothin' but shits and giggles all around.

Yesterday I had a lovely lunch with Des (new real house diva) and then rushed home to meet up with my father so that we could make Bunny's friend's promotion party at Bourbon St. Drag queen show, and a surprise visit from the Lovely Lizard herself, among other beauties. My father was ecstatic to be saved in the corner of this very gay bar by his force field of young lovely straight females. Little does he know, in a place like that, with several lovely women, you're still as gay as the next guy. We flock to gay men. Honestly, everything you need in a perfect friendship is right there, dual outlooks on life, AND amazing taste in EVERYTHING.

He had a blast, and thanked me profusely for "inviting" him along. I'm stoked that he wanted to come! After the show, my father and I went to Jane's place, where we met up with Jen (that makes three sisters and their father, in case you don't keep up with me) for some dinner. Fuckin' A. Life is grand. Oops! Over-edited. That's cool, you get the gist of things. I'll be back soon.
