What do we have here? A Friday? Woo hoo! Not just ANY Friday, my friends. A half-day for me, and I have Monday off! This is like a big, long, surprise vacation!! I didn�t know Cesar Chavez personally, but man, I�d like to thank all the whiny bitches who made his name synonymous with �day off�. I know he was in the Navy and started the first successful farm worker�s union in the history of this country. Great! I still have a day off.

Yesterday was nice and relaxing, feeling better, on the tail end of this freakin� cold. I can�t believe I actually allowed myself to stay in every night this week. It�s not a first, but it�s a goddamned rarity. I had a nice lunch with Bobo, catching up and eating Thai. Ahem, the food, that is, this isn�t Straub�s Koko and I said �Thai�, not �Vietnamese�. So there. But like I said, it was nice. There will always be a place in my heart for that silly monkey boy.

Last night, with tempting offers to hear erotic and pornographic poetry read aloud, the tug of Hedonism always in the back of my mind on a Thursday afternoon, I managed to stay in and continue my battle against the common cold. I do so think I�m winning, people. Okay, I just got off the phone with Halcyon . He just taught me something that could change my site forever. I may no longer be a dead end!
