I LOVE my new CAMERA!!! It arrived yesterday, and I've been shooting picks ever since. M.s., the expert in such matters, researched the perfect camera for me, small and lightweight, sexy and silver, and packs a lot of mega pixel punch.
Lizzie, thank you for your well wishes, I told the man and he appreciates it. As soon as IKEA narrows their selection of the second image, I'll post pictures so everyone can see which images will be available in cool, affordable, poster or canvas versions! I'm so proud of him.
Today I had lunch with old coworkers, and I'm trying to decide if there's a story there. Probably, because everyone can relate to stories about coworkers, and I have quite the interesting selection to describe. I'll think about it. It was great to see everyone, share lunch, catch up, and eat cake.
Tomorrow morning we're running up to the interior design people to switch our hardwood floors. Not the wood, but the direction of it. We originally chose diagonal, but M.s. began to get cold feet about the feng shui of it last night. Luckily, we're able to change it last minute. Now, the floor will run even with the hallway and the kitchen island, and M.s. feels MUCH better about our cherry wood now.
After that, I'm off to a piano lesson and then later, to a pre-St. Patrick's Day party. I'll be thinking of my Irish father, stuck in Korea, where a shamrock is as insignificant as a blade of grass. Sigh.
Now to try and convince M.s. to do that thing he was doing, rubbing my neck and shoulders in those tense areas I create while typing, playing the piano, or simply stressing over stupid shit.
