We're BACK! And I've got so MUCH to DO! One thing at a time, it's all good. Three weeks is a long time to be away from home and responsibility. I actually adjusted to the time out there, and now I'm all wiggety-wiggety whacked. It's 9, and M.s. and I are stoked that subway is open, because we're craving lunch more than breakfast. Routine is funny that way.
Aside from the stress and overwhelming mass of shit I've got to do, I'm pretty excited about doing most of it. Weddings, birthday parties, and a handful of things I've got planned to do and write about. I'm excited to meet my nephew, I'll be going up there this week, right after I screw my head on straight.
Our place is a MESS, and we haven't unpacked, but washes are being done and slowly, I'll put stuff away. Things with the condo are looking promising, if this whole loan thing is as easy as they're making it out to be, than things look more than promising. But it's never as easy as they make it seem. Still, we're very optimistic, and plans are underway for our new home, up to and including all of the parties I plan on throwing there.
It's been fun for me to catch up on three weeks worth of Readers, though I must say, I'm annoyed with the pull-quotes for the cake article. I did NOT bake a "white trash cake," I baked a very high end Panamatorte, a difficult and luscious gourmet chocolate-almond cake. I have no idea who they have pulling teasers, but whoever it is, they're not "getting it." No worries, everything else (the titles, the quotations, the articles themselves) is right on target, because they are MY words.
So now we're gonna run and get "lunch," and then continue the long list of tasks before us. I'll update you soon!
