"What you di is of little significance; but it is very important that you do it." -- Mohandas Gandhi
It's early, but despite the fact that we were up late, reading through all of the propositions, I'm not too groggy this morning. M.s. has already left to cast his vote, after which he has tons of errands to do. I need to pull my shit together, because my plate is just as full.
I have an appointment this afternoon to help an executive out with some writing. After that, I'll be chatting with one of my fabulous editors, and then I'm trying to make it to an "election evening party," but it depends on how much packing I can get done.
But despite all that lays ahead, I got a lot done yesterday! I bought my first scanner (that's right, soon there will be a whole page of photos up at My Backstage Pass site . When we get back from Seattle, I'm going to scan and upload, scan and upload, and I can't wait to share the documentation of my colorful past. We had a wonderful lunch with Dr. Zayaz and his Nina, giving me cause to head downtown and check out the crazy construction sites. We stopped by our builder's office to check in and say howdy (we're so excited!!!! Our place is going to be... THE place).
I've saved the most important announcement for last. I have officially acquired myself an AGENT!!! Plans are in the works to make me national. It will take a lot of time and effort, but I trust that with Secret Agent Man's help, things will run smoothly and efficiently.
That's all for now. I should probably take a shower before I go vote, I'd hate to distract other voters in Hillcrest with bedhead. And you know they'd notice.
p.s. Practicing the piano increases your typing accuracy, even if your speed is already up in the high 90s. As is mine.
